The structure consists of a central body, built as an ancient villa in the late '800 and transformed into a restaurant and lodging in 1938. In the 2000s a new wing was added to welcome more tourists keen to discover the Northern part of Lake Como.
Completely renovated and refurbished in the winter of 2015/2016, the Residence consists of 5 two-rooms and 4 one-room tastefully furnished apartments, with private entrance and equipped with kitchen,including all amenities (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster), sitting corner, 40-inch LCD TV, double bed, private bathroom with shower, hair-dryer and complimentary toiletries and lakefront view, through balcony or window in the attics. The two-rooms apartments have also a double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area.
Possibility of weekly or daily living.
Wi-fi throughout the entire structure. At guests' disposal, a washing machine, iron and ironing board are available in the common area. All apartments enjoy lake view and those in the new wing benefit from new air conditioning systems.
Possibility of a private and free unguarded parking space (close to the building), not assigned, subject to availability of parking spaces; public parking near the Residence.
“Le Terrazze” Restaurant is located on the ground floor, which was also completely renewed, for pleasant breakfasts, lunches, cocktails and dinners also candlelight. Available for banquets and events. From the large terrace of the Restaurant, as well as by the Residence balconies, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and of the large surrounding valleys which reflects in the water and, during the most famous and celebrated village festival that takes place every year in the evening of August 14th, you can have a privileged view of the typical allegorical boats’ parade, followed by the dazzling fireworks show that lights up the sky above our Residence.
Located in the quiet center of Gravedona ed Uniti, a small town on the north-western side of Lake Como, Riva del Lario Residence is placed in front of one of the four squares of the city directly overlooking the lake. Along the lake-front pedestrian promenade, through shops and bars, you can reach the historic Palazzo Gallio, where important events are held during the entire summer. Instead, walking toward the mouth of the Liro river, it is possible to admire the ancient and famous Church of Santa Maria del Tiglio, a magnificient heritage of the Lombard Romanesque period, and the Church of St. Vincent . The public beach is at 5 minute walk with adjoining municipal outdoor swimming pools, including spaces dedicated to children. Many bike paths are available to explore the nearby country hood. From the jetty, boats and hydrofoils allow unforgettable excursions to the pearls of our lake, Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio, Tremezzo, Cadenabbia and Como.
